Patina Restaurant Group operates over 50 restaurants and food service operations, offering a la carte dining as well as world-class private events, elegant weddings and corporate catering. Founded by Nick Valenti and Chef Joachim Splichal, owned by Delaware North, Patina offers unrivaled culinary artistry built by culinary legends.

Their Goal

Build exposure for Patina Restaurant Group’s 45+ restaurant location websites and increase online reservations.

Our Solution

We created a file for each restaurant location where we manage keyword targets and location information on a proprietary document called the ‘ABIS’ (Approved Business Information Sheet). You can read more about this process we’ve built in a guest blog for Sevenrooms.

We created a custom ‘Digital Dashboard’ report which showcased location-specific and group results (for all 46 units) over time, connecting Google Analytics data with reservation platform and POS data to track the impact of our efforts. This report delivered a monthly snapshot of year-over-year digital performance to both individual unit marketing managers and the group’s executive team.

Search Engine Optimization takes time, it is not uncommon for an SEO project to go 2-3 months before significant impact is evident in the website data.

Our project started in Q2 of 2016. By Q4 2016 our efforts had dramatically reversed a negative year-over-year trend for Seated Website Reservations for the entire group by significantly increasing Website Visitors from Search.
